Toby - Better Than Bookmarks

by

Bookmarks are for books, not browsers. Organize your browser tabs into Toby so you can access key resources in one click instead of seven. Toby is browser extension that helps organize your tabs.

Hey @arthur_camara @mackflavelle, Would be nice if I could found the save dashboard on each on my chromes.
Mack Flavelle
@rudyrosciglione @arthur_camara we launched that today. You should get the update shortly!

@arthur_camara, Any plans to make this for firefox?

@arthur_camara is there any reason why the extension is blocked incognito? https://infinit.io/_/C5LzkLd
Arthur Camara
@samayres1992 I'll check what's causing this and get back to you. It could be that incognito doesn't allow for persistent storage? I'm not sure, will investigate

I keep so many tabs open at work I end up just deleting the whole window and opening up a new one. This could probably save me a lot of time.

I switched to Toby from "X New Tab Page". Liking it much better. I particularly like the Sections (with the collapse / expand option), and I like how it adds active tabs to the right panel and allows me to drag them to sections or just click to switch to the respective tab. Now what I really want is to hide the lower half of each tab to save screen real estate. Any option to make the display more compact and allow more tabs to be viewable would be helpful. I get the beauty of the airy and uncluttered UI, but I need more Tabs viewable without scrolling etc. screen grab: http://imgur.com/Y0dPCqm Many thanks to the Toby team and I'm ready to donate a few bucks - it's that valuable to me.

@guilegaspar @arthur_camara @mackflavelle Just yesterday I wrote on my feature request list about this feature as a suggestion to one of the existing extensions 'The Great Suspender'. I think your extension is going to be a hit and there are so many possibilities in the future. All the best

It's another nail in the safari coffin for me - chrome is getting some real handy extensions of late, just like this one. I like it

OneTab is one of the most popular extensions for things like this. OneTab easily exports my tabs, if you could make an importer that reads the exported tabs, you could convert OneTab users very easily. I will be using this over OneTab now!! Thanks Also all the context menu options OneTab have if you copy those, that would be amazing

Well done. Always in love with this concept of productive browsing. Will be great if we could switch between groups of tabs instead of just opening them in the same session. Btw, I think there's a bug. I'm allowed to repeatedly open the same group - causing a multiple load of the same tabs.

This just might be the tab management tool I've been waiting years for. I've tried a few, but they all seem to just hide/list my tab hoarding issue. This actually seems like I'll be able to manage my tabs, so they're still sorted and accessible, but not stealing my computer resources. So far I'm impressed!

...and seeing the pretty/sorted list every time a new tab is opened is a subtle but genius addition that is hugely helpful.
