TinyFeelings - Emotional growth that grows with your child

Hey PH 👋 — maker here. TinyFeelings is the third app in a small family I've been building: TinyMinds covers Montessori-style activities across 7 domains, TinyTales matches books to a kid's reading level and taste. TinyFeelings does the same thing for social-emotional development — but it needed its own taxonomy to earn a separate app, not just another tab. So instead of a generic "toddler tantrums" script, it's built on CASEL's five competencies (self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, responsible decision-making) - the same framework most school SEL programs use - adapted into 71 stage-banded milestones for ages 0–6, sourced from CDC, Zero to Three, and executive-function research. Two things I'd love feedback on: 1. The milestone-matching is stage-based, not age-based - a 4-year-old and a 5-year-old working on the same skill see the same picks. Does that read clearly in the UI, or does it need more explanation? 2. Recommendations blend the milestone target with a learned "regulation style" (movement / sensory / verbal / connection / solitude) — which kind of calming strategy actually works for your specific kid. Curious whether that personalization is obvious once you use it a few times, or feels invisible. Everything's on-device - no accounts, no behavior logging, status is a manual three-state toggle (Not yet / Working on it / Got it) you set yourself.
