What if AI could tell you the perfect tip amount for any service, anywhere?

byโ€ข

Controversial take: We have NO IDEA what fair tipping looks like in 2026.

Should you tip your Uber driver โ‚ฌ2 or โ‚ฌ5?

Your dog walker โ‚ฌ10 or โ‚ฌ20 per month?

The cleaner who spent 4 hours in your apartment?

Everyone guesses. Nobody knows.

Here's what we're building:

Tink.you started as a frictionless tipping platform (30-second handle, WhatsApp/Signal/QR, no app for tippers, 28 languages). But as workers joined, we realized something:

We're accumulating data on tipping patterns across industries, locations, and service types.

Soon, our AI will be able to answer: "How much should I tip?" for:

๐Ÿ“ฆ Amazon delivery drivers in London

๐Ÿ• Dog walkers in Brooklyn

๐Ÿงน House cleaners in Paris

๐Ÿš— Valet parkers in Dubai

...and 140+ other gig jobs

The network effect:

More workers โ†’ More data โ†’ Smarter AI โ†’ Better recommendations โ†’ More tippers โ†’ More workers

This has never been done before. And it only works if workers register first and use the platform.

Questions for the PH community:

โ†’ Would you use AI-powered tipping recommendations? Why or why not?

โ†’ What data points should the AI consider? (location, service quality, weather, distance?)

โ†’ Is tipping cultural? Should recommendations vary by country?

โ†’ What's your go-to tipping rule of thumb today?

We're early. We want your input to shape this intelligence layer for the gig economy.

Thoughts? ๐Ÿง ๐Ÿ’ญ
