Built a zero-friction scheduler to stop WhatsApp planning wars.

by•

Hey everyone, 👋

As a PM, I've noticed that the biggest point of friction in new consumer apps right now is forcing users to create an account before they even experience the value of the product.

When I got tired of the endless WhatsApp scrolling trying to find a weekend my friends were free, I decided to build TimeFits ().

It's a 100% free, zero-friction group calendar built with a mobile-first philosophy.

  • You don't sign up.

  • Your friends don't sign up.

  • You just paint dates on the calendar, see the group overlaps, and export the finalized dates.

We are officially launching here on Product Hunt this coming Tuesday! 🚀

I’d love to hear from other makers: what are your thoughts on "zero-friction" design? Do you think forcing account creation is hurting consumer app adoption today?
