Hi Hunters! 👋 I’m the solo maker of Time Tower. This project is a very personal milestone for me. The Journey: From Legacy PHP to Modern Mobile I spent over a decade away from active development, with my knowledge stuck in the PHP era of 10+ years ago. My return started with VibeCoding (AI-assisted development), which led to my first modern web app, Typimal. Today, I’m launching my very first native mobile app. The Motivation: My 6-year-old Daughter My daughter understood "o'clock" and "half-past," but struggled with anything finer, like "15 minutes before 3". I couldn't find an app that was both beautiful and educationally deep, so I decided to build a journey for her. The Tech: ClaudeCode & Nano Banana Pro Using ClaudeCode as my primary partner, I navigated the React Native/Expo stack. For the assets, mascot and the tower backgrounds were visuals accelerated by Nano Banana Pro, allowing me to iterate with incredible speed and quality.
