Thinkmap - Simple project organization to remove context switch stress

By centering on subtasks and dependencies, you can easily break down all the details you need to get your working context off your mind quickly, and be confident when you return (even weeks later) you can get back to it instantly.

You know when you are in the zone but suddenly another priority demands your attention, which leaves floating anxieties about the other thing back of mind? My solution is to simply map out every detail in a visual form so I can safely remove it from my mind, and be sure the context I need is persistent. You've tried overcomplicated project management software that does too much and spent more time managing than executing. With simple notes, over time, an active project turns into a rats nest of detached thoughts. Thinkmap's visual structure strikes balance by centering intuitively on subtasks and dependencies. As a result I keep context on 50+ projects from "Hang Bikes in Garage" to the creation of Thinkmap itself. Rather than feeling spread-to-thin or lost, I feel confident I am working on what I need to be, and I'm OK with what I am not working on. A software engineer at Microsoft is empowered to get excited about a side-project, lose interest, but pick it up right where he left off even months later! A Plasma Physics PhD student can explore his other passions at times, WITHOUT overwhelming stress about everything he is not doing. I hope I can help you get that thing you don't consider a project off your mind (PS: if it takes > 1 step, it's a project).
