Our team faced disjointed AI tools (wasted integration time), steep technical barriers, and cloud-only data risks. Community demand for "secure, accessible open-source AI" pushed us to build a one-stop suite. Trying to solve: · Tool fragmentation (no single AI workflow solution) · High barriers (non-experts/developers wasted time on setup/coding) · Data risks (cloud-only tools exposed sensitive info) · Enterprise gaps (open-source tools lacked compliance/scalability) We started with OpenChat (our team’s offline assistant) — but community requests for agent building/deployment tools led us to expand to a 3-product suite. We shifted to "usability first" (added drag-and-drop to OpenPAI) and added enterprise tools (LLMOps/permission controls) for small businesses.
