The Social Circle - Social media, separated by what you share.
by•
The Social Circle is a live website/PWA rebuilt around separate social worlds instead of one mixed feed. Home Feed connects Social Circle, Social Lite, Gamers Circle, Circle Snap, and Circle Vision, so deeper posts, quick updates, photos, gaming, and video each have their own space. This launch also includes rebuilt worlds, redesigned profiles, and public-facing profiles so users can shape different parts of their online identity without everything being forced into one stream

Finally tried this, really like how the worlds keep things from turning into one giant mess, especially the separate space for longer posts and quick pics.
@zilansakao0spr Thank you for trying it out. That’s exactly what I was hoping the Worlds would do.
The goal is to let different kinds of posts breathe in their own spaces instead of forcing everything into one giant mixed feed. Longer posts, quick updates, photos, gaming, and video all behave differently, so they should not all have to fight for attention in the same lane.
Really appreciate you taking the time to check it out.
Really cool concept, separating content into worlds instead of one noisy feed is a smart move. One thing I'd love to see is a way to cross-post a single update to multiple worlds at once, with the option to customize the formatting per world so it doesn't feel like a lazy copy-paste.
@erafettinupbn Thank you, I really appreciate that.
That is actually a great idea, especially the part about customizing it per World instead of just blasting the same post everywhere.
I want the Worlds to stay separate enough that each space keeps its own purpose, but I can definitely see value in a smart cross-post flow where someone can start with one update, then adjust the version for Social Circle, Social Lite, Circle Snap, Gamers Circle, or Circle Vision before publishing.
That is something I’ll keep in mind as the posting flow grows.
How does the Home Feed actually decide which world to pull from when a creator posts across multiple ones, and is there any way to control that mix yourself?
Tried it. Great concept that can develop further more!
Btw, the design was only thing that I saw it needed improvement.
