Hey everyone! I’m back! And stronger than ever. To be honest, I completely burnt out building Gateway (my previous launch). I gained weight, stopped caring, and thought I’d never build again. It wasn’t the app, it was me. I put too much pressure on myself to make it succeed, instead of taking it day by day and being content with what I had built that day. My mental health went completely out the door. I stopped building for four months, got promoted, moved to DC but something was missing: building. I love building apps. I love solving problems. I love the entire process. Once the financial strain wasn’t holding me back, I found my way back into it. Bit by bit. Page by page. Feature by feature. That’s how we got to The Gardyn. It’s the culmination of my own mental health journey, and of the countless founders, professionals, mothers, fathers - anyone who’s felt the weight of pressure breaking them down. It’s like holding a glass that’s already full and not knowing how to let go. The Gardyn shows you how. That’s how I built it. It’s pretty cool: I used ElevenLabs text-to-speech to create a scientifically backed meditation library with calming voice agents. I used OpenAI Whisper, paired with TTS, to create real-time personalized meditations. And one of my favorite features? The video journal. You just hit record and talk about your day.
