built The Drop because I got tired of watching people self-censor on Reddit to protect their karma score, and watching Twitter turn every conversation into a 280-character rage performance. The problem isn't just who owns these platforms — it's the mechanics. Karma systems punish authenticity. Downvotes let the mob tank your post without saying a word. Algorithms decide what "matters" before anyone even reads it. The Drop flips all of that. No karma. No downvotes — if you disagree, you reply. No algorithm choosing your feed.
