The Codex - Where audiences collaboratively decode art.

Hey Product Hunt 👋 I’ve always been fascinated by the fact that great art creates entirely different realities in different people’s minds. Most platforms optimize for passive consumption: scroll, like, move on. But some of the most meaningful experiences I’ve had with music, poetry, films, and writing came from discussing them with other people and discovering interpretations I never would’ve reached alone. So I built The Codex. The idea is simple: upload a song, poem, video, or piece of writing, then let people collaboratively interpret it. Users can post interpretations, explore connections, and stake “Signal” on ideas they believe resonate most deeply. Over time, patterns emerge. Some interpretations converge. Others split into entirely different worlds of meaning. This beta is intentionally early and experimental. I’m especially interested in feedback around: • what feels engaging • what feels confusing • whether interpretation itself can become a compelling social experience Excited (and slightly terrified) to finally share it.
