I built TeleExpense because I kept failing at expense tracking myself. Most expense trackers expect you to remember every coffee, meal, and random small purchase. I would start strong, forget a few days, let the backlog pile up, then eventually stop tracking altogether. So I wanted to build an expense tracker that fits into habits people already have. TeleExpense works inside Telegram, syncs to your own Google Sheet, and now helps turn transaction alerts into ready-to-review expenses. You can still log manually, scan receipts, set recurring entries, and track with a partner, but the goal is simple: make expense tracking feel less like admin work. It started as a small Telegram bot for my own use, and slowly evolved into a full tracker with AI categorisation, insights, monthly reports, rewards, and shared tracking.
