Hi everyone - (solo-dev here behind TaxHILFE), which started as a marketplace connecting German clients with certified tax advisors. But it did not work much, because one side of the funnel - Tax advisors! They do not have time and do not want to take more clients. So, I interviewed a few, and they said if I can save them 1 hour a day, they would be super happy to take more clients. So, today launching Nexum AI, an assistant built for tax advisors, right inside the product. The problem: advisors lose hours to repetitive drafting, re-reading case notes, and tracking deadlines. Nexum aims to solve the busywork: • Drafts client replies in the client's own language, aware of the case • "Catch me up" - can recap where any engagement stands in one click • Assistant which can summarise regulations and this quarter's VAT deadlines Two things I cared about most: - "client data is anonymised" before it reaches any model. - and every output is a suggestion the advisor reviews - Nexum never sends or files anything itself. It's Free to start, no credit card. Would love your feedback - especially from anyone doing tax or accounting in Germany. Drop a message/comment if you want a Free account to try out.

The German tax system is a headache so anything that cuts the back-and-forth is welcome. The marketplace angle feels more useful than yet another AI chatbot, especially if the matching actually comes with a guarantee.

I had to pivot from the marketplace to the AI angle after interviewing a few tax advisors. The marketplace is not dead and will not be removed. But it is non-functional until one side of the marketplace funnel is choked.

Tax advisors said they just do not have time to take more cases. So the moment any automation solves their time issue, the marketplace will start picking pace automatically.

Right now I plan to keep it open as a yellow-pages, even if tax advisors are going to take much cases there.

Thank you for your feedback.

How does the matching actually work, like do you just pick the first available Steuerberater or are they vetted based on specialties first?

Thank you for your comment. Previously, matching was "First Tax advisor to claim the request".

But since they are busy anyway, for a long time, requests went unanswered.

So, as of now, these cases are also manually matched by us, based on Speciality + Availability + Price point of the user. So semi-automation until we study the user and market behaviour more.

On top of that, the user can always accept or reject the proposal.
