Tasklo - I built a reminders app with no subscription, no account and no servers (iPhone + Mac)
Disclosure: I'm the developer.
I didn't want to build yet another to-do app. What I wanted was something simple that I couldn't find: a reminders app that doesn't hide my own data or KI features behind a subscription or an account with questionable privacy but with a clean an easy design.
So I made Tasklo: Reminders.
What it is
It works on top of Apple Reminders. Whatever accounts you already have there (iCloud, Exchange, Outlook, CalDAV) show up in Tasklo, each list on its own.
No account, no sign-up, no servers of mine. Your data stays on your device and in your own Reminders accounts. Sync between iPhone and Mac is simply the sync you already have.
One-time purchase, no subscription (about €2.99).
What it does
Quick entry in plain sentences ("Tomorrow 9am call the dentist"). Uses Apple Intelligence on-device where available, a simple pattern parser otherwise.
Today, Scheduled, Week view (drag a reminder to another day), Overdue, Priority, Completed
Repeating reminders, location reminders, tags with #keyword
Widgets, Siri / Shortcuts, search, optional morning summary
English and German
Honest limits
Subtasks are stored only inside Tasklo (Apple doesn't expose them to other apps), so they won't appear in Apple Reminders.
iPhone and Mac only, no iPad yet.
