TapIQ was built to solve a simple but growing problem: many online fraud attempts now start with a message. It could be a prize notification, a rental inquiry, a job offer, or a marketplace conversation. These messages often look convincing, and it can be difficult to tell whether they are genuine or risky. I wanted to create a simple way for people to pause and check a message before responding. With TapIQ, you can paste a suspicious message and the platform analyzes common risk signals such as financial lures, urgency, payment requests, and social engineering patterns. The goal is not to accuse or label messages, but to help people understand potential warning signs before taking action. This is the early version of the platform, and I’m very interested in hearing feedback from the community. Some questions I’d love input on: • What types of suspicious messages do you encounter most often? • What signals usually make you question a message? • What would make a tool like this more useful to you? If you'd like to try it, you can test it with example messages or paste a message you've received. Thanks for checking out TapIQ and for any feedback
