Tailwind CSS has become such a familiar part of modern frontend development. Curious to see how Shopify plans to evolve it from here.
@david_turner12 shopify already ships tailwind internally, so the incentive is to keep it stable. the thing to watch is features that only make sense inside their stack.
the license is the first thing everyone will check and the least likely thing to change. mit is irrevocable for everything already shipped. what actually changes after an acquisition is whose roadmap the maintainers wake up to.
