Relaunching after some big updates. Since finding myself out of work for the first time in a very long time, I really wanted to find a project to work on. I decided after writing my millionth cover letter that I wanted to create something that would make it easier to do. And this TailoredCV.app was born. I spent the past week designing and redesigning everything so that it would be as user friendly as possible. My work experience is mostly backend so it's been a bit of a learning curve trying to make something look good. Since the initial launch I've added some extra features like CV reviews which will view your CV and your intended industry and score you on it, advising you what is the standard for that industry in terms of CVs. Also an ATS review system where users can upload their CVs and see how an actual ATS system would view their CV, example if they're missing a header or section. You can use it for free as a trial without signing up at all. I struggled with figuring out a good fair monetisation system, similar sites use a subscription based system but I felt that isn't a good idea for those who are out of work infrequently so I decided on a credit system so you can pay as you go, no subscriptions needed. There is indeed a subscription option if someone is a particular power user. And of course for my American friends you can just swap the word CV with Resume! We have included this localisation into TailoredCV also, it will adjust the text on the website to match your preferred language and also will instruct the AI to use this in the generations.
