I was already used to the simplicity of Cmd+Tab on macOS to switch between apps, so I thought—why not bring that same fluid experience to the browser? Other browsers like Firefox and Arc have something similar built-in, but Safari didn’t have anything like it—and I couldn’t find any extensions that offered this kind of keyboard-driven tab switcher. So I decided to build it myself. What makes this launch special is that TabDirector feels native. It’s lightweight, fast, and fully customizable with your own keyboard shortcuts. It doesn’t try to do too much—it just helps you switch tabs faster and stay focused. I’m most proud that it’s already helping users reduce friction in their daily browsing and save time.
