Tab Cemetery - The world's first graveyard for your forgotten browser tabs

by
You have 50 tabs open. You're not going back to most of them. You know it. Tab Cemetery knows it too. It auto-closes tabs you haven't touched in days and buries them in a gothic graveyard — complete with 12 hand-drawn tombstones, 150+ site-specific epitaphs, a death bell, achievements, and kill streaks. Resurrect anything with one click. You almost never will. Free. No tracking. No ads.

Hey PH! I'm Patlakh and I built Tab Cemetery because I was sick of being the guy with 60 tabs open pretending everything's under control. The idea is dead simple — if you haven't opened a tab in a week, you don't need it. But I didn't want to build another boring tab closer. So every dead tab gets a proper funeral: a tombstone, a custom epitaph based on the site, and a death bell. I wrote 150+ epitaphs for 25+ sites by hand. Illustrated 12 tombstones. Built a gothic UI with animated candles and a custom font. Added achievements like Serial Killer and Necromancer. Was it necessary? No. Did I enjoy every second? Absolutely. The whole thing is vanilla JS, Manifest V3, 1.1MB, zero dependencies. No accounts, no tracking, no premium tier. Everything stays on your device. Would love to hear what you think — what features are missing, what's weird, what made you laugh. Roast me or upvote me, either works.
