Swift-Slide - Turn NotebookLM slides into editable PPTX, design intact

by•
NotebookLM (now Gemini Notebook) makes great slides, then hands you an image you can't edit. Swift-Slide turns them, plus scanned docs and image-only PDFs, into real PPTX with editable text and the original design intact. What's different: AI lifts only the text and restores the background underneath, instead of regenerating the slide. A browser editor then lets you rewrite text, brush over leftovers to repair the background, and restore lost logos. 10 free pages, no card required.

Hi Product Hunt 👋 I'm Tsuyoshi, the maker of Swift-Slide. NotebookLM makes great slides and infographics — and then hands you an image you can't edit. Regenerate, and the design you liked is gone. I'd been fixing them by hand in an image editor for months, so I built this. What it does: AI lifts only the text off the page, restores the background underneath, and rebuilds it as a real PPTX with editable text boxes. It also handles scanned documents and image-only PDFs. What I'd like you to try: the editor. AI conversion is never perfect, so you can rewrite text, brush over leftovers to repair the background, and restore lost logos from the original — all in the browser. There's a no-signup demo if you just want to poke at it: Honest limits: text baked into illustrations is left alone on purpose (removing it breaks the artwork), and object separation is a separate editor step rather than part of the conversion. Solo dev, built over 6 months on top of a full-time job. Happy to answer anything technical — OCR, inpainting, the parallel pipeline, all of it.
