Hey Product Hunt 👋 I’m Yernur, the solo founder behind Surge. I built Surge because creating content for your own startup involves much more than writing. Before publishing anything, you need to understand what is happening in your market, research competitors, find relevant topics, remember previous company updates, decide what is worth talking about, and then adapt each idea for different platforms. Most AI writing tools only handle the last step. Surge is an AI growth agent that works earlier in the process. It can: • Research your startup, website, market, and competitors • Find publicly available information relevant to your company • Separate useful sources from verified competitors • Store company facts and previous context in a living knowledge base • Turn its research into an editable weekly content plan • Generate posts for LinkedIn, X, Reddit, Threads, and TikTok • Create short-form video scripts and visual briefs You can also see the agent working through its research and planning process instead of receiving a result from a black-box prompt. I’m currently working on a Telegram integration so founders will be able to send quick company updates, add context, and interact with their growth agent directly from Telegram. Surge is still early, and I’m launching it while actively looking for the first group of founders who will use it in their real weekly workflow. The current plans are: • Starter — $5.99/month • Pro — $9.99/month I would genuinely appreciate direct feedback, especially on three questions: Does the research feel relevant to your startup? Would you use the generated weekly plan? What would you want the agent to handle next? Thank you for checking out Surge ❤️

The weekly plan it built for my SaaS actually pulled in competitors I hadn't tracked in months, and the video briefs gave me hooks I could use right away.

Thanks for trying it! Really glad the competitor research and video hooks were immediately useful. That’s exactly the kind of practical weekly output I want Surge to provide.

One thing I'd love to see is a built-in approval workflow so clients or teammates can review and sign off on each weekly plan before posts go live. Right now it feels like a solo tool, but adding a simple comment-and-approve step would make it way more useful for agencies or anyone collaborating with a founder on content.

Thanks, that’s a really useful suggestion. A simple comment-and-approval workflow for teammates or clients makes a lot of sense, especially for agencies, and I’ll keep it in mind for the roadmap.

Spent 10 minutes poking around and the weekly plan actually feels useful, not just a wall of AI fluff. Liked that it pulled in a competitor's recent pricing change without me having to spell it out.
