Sudoku for Dad - A Sudoku app for my dad

I built Sudoku for Dad after watching my dad play Sudoku on apps full of ads, pop-ups and clutter. I thought I could make him something nicer, clean, simple and focused on the puzzle. After a lot of feedback (Dad is a surprisingly demanding product tester), it’s reached the point where he actually prefers it. No ads, no subscriptions, no nonsense. Just Sudoku.

Hey Product Hunt 👋 This started pretty simply. I kept seeing my dad playing Sudoku on his phone, and the apps he was using were full of ads, pop-ups and some pretty nasty UI. So I thought I’d have a go at building him one. What started as a tiny side project turned into a lot of feedback from Dad, a surprising number of iterations, and eventually an app he actually prefers using. I’ve tried to keep the original idea intact: no ads, no subscriptions, no currencies or unnecessary distractions. Just Sudoku. I’m mildly proud of how it’s turned out, so I thought I’d finally share it here. I’d love any feedback, particularly from people who play a lot of Sudoku. Dad has certainly given me plenty.
