I was killing time before a presentation when my friend once showed me how she tracks her subscriptions, a plain text list in her iPhone Notes app. That moment stuck with me.
Weeks later, the random hit my consciousness that there has to be a different way to keep track. Something simple like Notes and fun without all the extra stuff. So I built Substrack for myself, a straightforward subscription tracker with a quirky personality (Penny the pixel horse was born🐴).
I really miss the days when you buy a product and it's yours. In that case, I didn't require an account signup, no bank connections or data collection. Just a fun way to see where your money goes each month and banish those unused subscriptions into the ether. Saving your coins!
