The idea for Sub Base came about when our roofing company had plenty of work but couldn't find enough subcontractors to meet demand following a hail storm. Our mission was clear - to enhance connectivity within the roofing industry by making the process of finding and hiring subcontractors smooth and efficient. Overcoming the initial challenges of building a two-sided marketplace, we are proud to have onboarded over 900 subcontractors from all across the United States. For general contractors, Sub Base provides unprecedented visibility. You can now see what crews are in your area and, if necessary, find subcontractors from across the nation who are willing to travel. Compliance issues are also made easier with Sub Base as you'll know upfront the status of a subcontractor's insurance, general liability, and workers' comp documentation.
