The schema designer actually feels snappy on my MacBook Air, which surprised me for a native SQL tool. Importing my TablePlus connections took about two seconds and just worked.

Finally a native macOS db client that doesn't feel like a clunky electron wrapper. The inline editing in the table browser is snappy and the valet detection actually saved me from typing out connection details.

The choice to go native Swift instead of wrapping an Electron shell shows real respect for the platform, and that Laravel Valet auto-detection is a wonderfully thoughtful touch for anyone living in that ecosystem.

finally a mac-native db client that doesn't feel like a web app wearing a trench coat. the valet auto-detection alone sold me, importing my tableplus setups in a click was painless.
