Hello there, Has anyone here used Twine to create branching narratives or interactive fiction games? I tried using it years ago but found it a bit clunky. About six months ago, I thought I would set out to build an alternative tool that was more visual and could be used right in the browser. Full disclosure: I do not have a background in coding or development and I have been using AI tools to assist in my projects. StoryPlay has been the most involved and challenging project I’ve collaborated on with AI. I may not have fully appreciated just how big of a commitment a project of this scope would inevitably demand when I casually threw the idea out there. But at this point, I’m all in. I’ve invested tons of time and effort into StoryPlay at this point. I would love to hear from people who have tried similar tools to see how mine compares. I’d be interested in things like: - How easy or difficult is it to navigate the editor? - How does it compare to a tool like Twine or any others you’ve used? - What did you like about it (if anything) and what did you hate? - After trying it out, would you be willing to use it again in the future? - What should I focus on improving or adding next?
