Storyflow AI - Claude + Notion but in One Intelligent Canvas

by•
Storyflow is a visual workspace with AI that knows your whole project. Not just the message you typed, but every note, image, and board around it. Dump your messy notes onto the board and watch them sort themselves into something you can work with. Then ask the chat for what you need next: a design, a PDF, a spreadsheet, a chart. It builds from what's already on your board. Currently 3 years in development and early access. Free plan coming soon.

Hey Product Hunt 👋

I have explained my own company to ChatGPT more times than I have explained it to customers.

Storyflow is what I built so I'd never do it again.

One canvas where you dump everything, research inside it, brainstorm with an AI that can actually see all of it, and walk out holding the real PDF, spreadsheet, doc or design you needed. Two of us, bootstrapped, no funding, revenue-generating.

The problem, specifically

Every session started at zero. Here's what we do. Here's the ICP. Here's the positioning. Here's what we tried last quarter and why it died. Then I'd get genuinely sharp advice for a company that didn't exist, because the model had never seen any of it.

And the company itself lived in six places. Positioning in a Google Doc. Competitor research in thirty tabs. Roadmap in Notion. Funnel sketched in Miro. Briefs in a folder somewhere. About $80/month of subscriptions that had never heard of each other.

The breaking point was small, the way they always are. I went hunting for a competitor teardown I'd written weeks earlier, the one with the line that would have unlocked our whole homepage. I knew I'd written it. I lost an afternoon. I never found it.

What it does, in the order you'd actually use it

Dump everything in. Notes, links, PDFs, screenshots, competitor pages, half-thoughts at 1am. It sorts the mess into structured boards instead of handing you an empty canvas and an afternoon of dragging.

Research inside it. Point it at a URL, a report, a competitor. Sources land on the board next to what you already know, not buried in a chat log you'll never scroll back through.

Brainstorm with everything in view. The chat sees the entire canvas. You never re-explain your company again. Ask "which of these three angles is weakest and why" and it answers about your angles, with your ICP on screen.

It remembers you between sessions. Not just project facts, but how you work. Which frameworks you reach for, what you keep deleting from its suggestions, how you lay a board out. It learns from what you change about its work, not from what you prompt at it.

It builds the actual deliverable. Not a description of one. A financial model as a real .xlsx. An investor one-pager as a designed page you can edit by hand. A brief as a .docx. A client PDF. Every one lands as a card on your board and a file you can download. Ask for a change and it edits the file instead of rebuilding it from scratch.

Then you ship it. One link to your team or your investors. They comment, they draw on the board, you move cards at the same time and watch each other's cursors. No export step. No deck_v7_FINAL_final.pdf.

Storyflow in short

  • Messy dump to structured boards

  • Research that reads sources onto your canvas

  • AI holding your entire project as permanent context

  • Memory that learns your taste from your edits

  • Kanbans, mindmaps, funnels, journey maps, calendars, tables, charts

  • Real PDFs, Excel sheets, Word docs and designs, built and re-edited on request

  • Image generation and a hand-editable design canvas

  • Live multiplayer, comments, drawing, share links

  • Multi player AI

The one rule we build by

It proposes, you decide. That's an engineering constraint here, not a slogan:

  • Every AI edit to your board is a single undo.

  • It can tell its own output apart from yours, so it never learns its own habits back as your taste.

  • When it builds your model and doesn't know your Q4 budget, it leaves a labelled blank and asks. It does not invent a number and let you walk into a board meeting with it.

Anyone who has shipped a deck knows a confident fabricated number is how you lose the room. I want the scaffolding automated and the judgment left with me.

Where we're at, honestly

Two people. Bootstrapped, no funding, paying customers today. Creative and marketing teams at Artlist, Red Bull, The North Face and Porsche use it.

We're paid-only during early access, and I'd rather say that plainly than fake a free tier. Plans are $9.99/mo ($7.99 annual) and replace about $80/mo of stack. Anyone you invite to a board joins free, forever. A real free plan lands before the end of the year.

For Product Hunt today: [CODE] gets you [X], no card needed. I want you to actually use it before you decide anything.

My ask

Try it on a project you're stuck on right now, then come back and tell me where it let you down. I'm in this thread all day and I will answer every single comment.

Founders especially: I want to know what your current stack looks like and which part of it you resent most. That's still where I learn the most.

For Product Hunt today: PRODUCTHUNT gets you 10% off forever.

I know a paywall on launch day is a big ask. If you want to see it working before you spend anything, reply here and I'll send you a live board to poke at.
