Stash - Temporarily park files. Drag them back when you need them.

by
Stash is a lightweight file shelf for Windows that lets you temporarily park files without cluttering your desktop. Instead of moving files between folders or leaving them on your desktop, simply drag them into Stash and bring them back whenever you need them. Stash stores file references—not copies—so your files stay exactly where they are. Designed to feel native on Windows 11 and stay out of your way until you need it.

Hi everyone! 👋 I built Stash because I kept using my desktop as a temporary place for files while working. Every day I was dragging files between folders, leaving them on the desktop "just for a minute", and then cleaning everything up later. I wanted something that worked like a temporary shelf instead of another file manager. Stash doesn't move your files—it only keeps references, so everything stays in its original location while remaining easy to access. This is the first public release and I'd genuinely appreciate any feedback, feature requests, or criticism. Thanks for checking it out!
