A few quality-of-life improvements we shipped recently
We've been quietly shipping some nice polish over the last few weeks, so thought I'd share what's been working on.
The exclude button everyone wanted
You can now exclude specific options (like a particular hotel or Airbnb) from triggering your price alerts. Sounds simple, but it's been one of the most-asked-for features since we launched. Pretty useful when you've narrowed down to a couple properties and don't want noise from the rest.
Social cards look way better
We rewrote how price alerts look when you share them. Now they've got destination photography, stamps, flags, and little price-trend sparklines. Instagram especially—they're actually nice-looking now instead of the static box we had before. Plus the whole social publishing thing got more reliable; we fixed a bunch of buffer/carousel issues that were silently failing.
Mobile got a lot smoother
The autocomplete search was janky on phones—tapping wouldn't reliably register. Fixed that. Also moved the profile menu to the bottom nav where it actually makes sense on mobile, and fixed a couple PWA edge cases that were annoying users on reload.
Weekly digests got consolidated
If you get our weekly export, it used to send you a card for every single price drop—could be 15+ notifications. Now it's one combined digest. Feels less spammy and actually useful.
Some under-the-hood reliability stuff
Fixed a race condition where fire-once alerts could fire twice. Fixed webhook delivery for exports timing out. Promo codes now tag channel/recipient cleanly in the admin UI. Boring but necessary.
Nothing groundbreaking, just the kind of work that makes the product feel less janky day-to-day. We're listening to the feedback and iterating.
