Hey Product Hunt! After building QuickBoost for QuickBooks users, we kept hearing from accountants who split their time between QBO and Xero and wanted the same speed boost on the Xero side. XeroBoost brings Ctrl+K search, 55+ shortcuts, a colour-coded client switcher, and automatic invoice PDF renaming right into Xero. Everything runs locally in your browser, so your financial data never leaves Xero. Would love to hear what shortcuts or workflows you'd want to see next!

Love the colour-coded client switcher idea, that alone saves me a ton of clicking. One thing that would make it even better for daily use is letting users customize the keyboard shortcuts themselves, since some of your defaults probably clash with the muscle memory people already have from other tools they keep open in the browser.

 Thanks for your feedback. Keyboard short cut customisation is already available. You can go to gear icon bottom left corner , go to Keyboard Shortcuts and Edit as per your convenience

love how this cuts down the endless clicking in QBO. one thing that would make it even better is letting us bind our own shortcut combos instead of relying on the default set, since a few of them clash with the Mac shortcuts i already use every day for other apps.

QuickBooks navigation has always felt like a chore, so the ⌘K search alone is worth installing this for. The client switcher with colour coding is a nice touch for anyone juggling multiple books.

the cmd k search alone is worth it, jumped straight to P&L without digging through the menu. colour coded client switcher is a nice touch too

finally something that fixes quickbooks online's maze-like menus. the cmd+k jump straight to P&L is exactly what i needed during month end.

One thing I'd love to see is a customisable hotkey for jumping directly to a specific client, not just cycling through them with the switcher. Since you already have shortcuts, letting users bind something like Cmd+Shift+1 to open their most-used client would save a lot of keystrokes for accountants who live in one file all day.
