Really curious how Spotify will build their experience to differentiate themselves from Twitter Spaces and Clubhouse. Having a separate app from Spotify is interesting. I could see users being able to listen to an artist, know when they're hosting a room to discuss their latest album release, and tuning in straight from the app. Update: The interface is really clean. The chat feature is super nice and the audio quality is 👌

@gabe__perez I'm really eager to see if the interest in these drop-in audio chat apps persists once people start to move out freely. Having worked with audio platforms several years back, One thing I noticed was that people have some inhibitions against talking to the phone in public watching the screen especially in western countries. Then again, that was pre-TikTok age.

@muhammed_mustafa my take is the user/audience is going to be more sport & music inclined. The app also has a chat functionality as well as "Gems" which have some sort of value. imo, the app is cleaner and easier to navigate. If they can secure talent & quality content I can see it take a piece of ClubHouse's pie.
