I'm Antoine, and I built Splitz.
It started on a holiday with friends: a dinner and a huge grocery run left us with one endless receipt and no idea who owed what.
Splitting a bill equally is easy, but it's rarely fair: one person had the salad, another had the steak and half the wine. Doing it fairly usually means someone squinting at the receipt with a calculator.
So Splitz starts from the receipt. Take a photo, Splitz reads every line, and you tap who had what. The balances update for the whole group, and Splitz keeps repayments to the minimum.
