SpiteCash - €3 guaranteed if charged after cancelling a subscription

by
Subscription apps make leaving hard on purpose. The cancel button is buried, and cancelling on the website doesn't stop an App Store charge. SpiteCash pays you €3 when that happens — guaranteed, if your case meets 6 criteria listed upfront. Paid in 7 days via PayPal, Revolut or IBAN. Plus free cancellation guides for 48 apps, and every validated case becomes a public record of the worst offenders. One person, side project, no VC.

I got charged twice by an app I'd cancelled. Once through their website, once through the App Store — I didn't know those were separate billing systems. Support ignored me. The bank refunded one charge, not the other. That was enough to make me build this. Leaving is deliberately hard. The cancel button is three menus deep, the confirmation screen is vague, and if you cancelled in the wrong place you're still paying. SpiteCash does two things: **Pays you €3** if a subscription charges you after you cancelled. Six criteria, published and linked from the homepage — you know upfront whether you qualify, and it's €3 flat, not "up to €3". Paid within 7 days via PayPal, Revolut or IBAN. **Publishes the data.** Every validated case, anonymized, goes into a public record of which apps are the worst offenders. Full disclosure so nobody has to go digging: I'm one person, this is a side project, the payout pool is small and capped so I can actually honour it, and some cancellation guides carry affiliate links. That's what keeps it free. The thing I'd most like feedback on: is €3 the right number? Low enough that it's not worth your paperwork, or is the point just that someone's finally on your side? Especially happy to take skeptical questions. — Marius, spitecash.com
