Do you skip threads when the languages mix?

by

I’m Futoshi, making SpiralLink — an 18+ social network. Posts, DMs, and blogs translate on your device. It’s already on iOS, Android, and the web. September 15 is our Product Hunt launch.

Most translators assume one language per post. Real threads don’t work that way. One person writes in Japanese, the next comment is English, a DM switches mid-sentence, a blog mixes two languages in the same paragraph.

SpiralLink is built for that mix. You write in your language. Everyone else reads the whole thread in theirs — even when several languages sit in the same post, comment chain, or DM.

If you’ve been in a mixed-language thread lately: did you stay, or did you skip it because translating each piece was too much work?
