I kept spending money and could never recall what I'd spent it on. By month's end, my budget was gone with nothing to show for where. So I built Spendly, a simple budgeting assistant that works entirely inside Telegram. No extra app, no setup. Hey everyone ๐Ÿ‘‹ I'm the maker of Spendly, and this one comes straight from a personal frustration. For the longest time I'd spend money throughout the week and, when I finally checked my budget, I had no idea where most of it went. honestly love that you went straight to telegram instead of forcing another app download, that's basically the whole reason i'd actually use it. nice execution.

Thank you, I think we are all getting bored of using a lot of apps and forcing people to use both web platform and mobile sounded something that I could avoid using telegram so I did. Also we want the flow to be easy from user experience point of view, I wanted the user to log his spending while he is standing there at the store without having to take 10000 steps. Honestly the in-telegram thing is kind of genius, no extra app to forget about. Logged a few expenses and it just got out of the way which is exactly what i needed.

the telegram approach is honestly pretty smart for something like this, no extra friction. one thing i'd love though is a weekly summary that gets pushed to me automatically, like a quick recap of where the money went. would make it way easier to course correct before the month is already blown.
