I built Spantop because I often wanted a second monitor without carrying one around.

Spantop lets you turn another computer or device into a real second monitor for your Mac over Thunderbolt or WiFi. It is made for people who travel, work from cafés, use multiple screens, or just want more space without buying extra hardware.

The goal was simple: open the app, connect another screen, and extend your Mac workspace.

congrats with the launch! What features are free and what require a paid update? It would be nice to see the app in action somehow, maybe even captured from your POV using an iPhone, I think that might boost interest/conversion for you. Good luck!

nice! does it work with windows? I mainly use mac for work, but still sometimes switch to windows for creative work, and connecting mac as a second monitor was always difficult with third party software.

Good app, I've tried it on my iMac and my MacBook Pro. But I can't install it on my Android tablet because I'm in Belgium and on my American account I can’t too because the developer has locked the app for people under 18 . (My account has 24 years).

Sounds perfect for refurbishing older iMacs!
