What's the most important email you ever found in your spam folder, and it was too late?

by

I'll go first.

A while back, one of our early customers told me how he found a signed client contract sitting in his spam folder — two weeks after the deadline had passed. Between a fake lottery win and a pharmacy ad. The client thought he was being ignored. Once he started digging, there were job applications and an invoice in there too.

That story is basically why SPAMRAID exists: rule-based spam filters don't read email, they pattern-match it — so real messages get buried for looking slightly unusual. We built an AI that actually reads what the filter flagged (only headers and a short excerpt — full bodies never leave your mail server) and moves the legitimate ones back to your inbox automatically.

So, launch-day question: what's the best thing you ever found in spam — and how late were you? Client emails, job offers, tax letters, love letters, I want to hear all of it.

I'm here all day answering anything about how it works, the privacy design, or why we charge per check instead of a subscription. And if this thread makes you go check your spam folder right now — that's the whole point. (First 100 checks a month are free, so seeing what's buried in yours costs nothing.)
