Seems a great improvement! Unfortunately it's not available in Italy at the moment. Any ETA for it?

I'm not sure how I feel about SoundCloud making the consumers bear the 30% Apple fee. It seems if you are after Spotify subscribers, you would bear that tax to make the price competitive. Economics are economics, but I'm not sure if this is the right move coming in fresh to the subscription market.

Hi Evan, this is pretty standard for mobile subscriptions - you can use the web to get the regular price.

Brilliant! offline is the feature soundcloud was really missing. Are there any plans for a dedicated desktop app? I've used 3rd party apps but none of them have the ability to add songs to playlists, etc.

That's something we'd love to know if there's a lot of interest in. What features specifically would you use it for? Have you tried extensions for your mac like SoundCleod?
Really the main issue I have with the well designed apps, is that there is no option to like, or add to playlist. I might be in the minority of people looking for a dedicated app however.

That's due primarily to API access. It's definitely a power user feature - but I'd love to hear any more feedback if you have it - feel free to Tweet or DM me in the future :)
Awesome! The existing Soundcloud library + expanded catalog + offline support would really make me consider switching from Spotify. - What's the ETA for the EU launch? - Will Soundcloud support Last.fm scrobbling at some point?

I can't personally say anything about the EU launch but check out some of the articles posted today for comments from the founders. Also, thanks for the question on Last.fm - can you tell me what you use it for and why you'd like to see it? I can pass it on to the other product teams here.
I simply like to keep track of my listening behavior. It's great to see your personal charts and built playlists based on that data. Most of the big streaming apps (Spotify, Deezer,...) offer adding your last.fm account so I assume I'm not the only one out there who's interested in this. Would love to see that feature in Soundcloud!

Awesome. Thanks Julian I will talk to the team about it. BTW can you tell me any of your favorite uses for the collected data? For instance is there any other thing you plug your last.fm data into in order to generate playlists, recommendations, etc? Or any 1 or 2 favorite use cases for the data collected over time, even within last.fm itself.
