Title: The "Scrolling Era" is over. We’re taking Social Media IRL next Friday. 🚀

by

The last 20 years of social media followed a single, broken formula: Keep the user on the screen.

We have 5,000 "friends" we haven't spoken to in years, yet we sit in a crowded bar or restaurant and feel completely disconnected from the people ten feet away from us. The "Social" has been stripped out of Social Media.

On Friday, May 8th, we are changing that.

I’m Taylor, and I’m launching Social Hub. We aren't building another app to keep you on your couch—we’re building the Social Operating System for the physical world.

We are transforming every bar, pub, and restaurant into a live digital-physical hybrid. No more "scrolling." No more "ghosting." Just the Hub.

Next Friday, you’ll get access to:

  • The Vibe Protocol: See who’s at the bar to meet people, who’s on a date, and who’s just hanging out.

  • The Live DJ/Host Layer: Vote on tracks, join live trivia, and snag "Flash Specials" the second the kitchen posts them.

  • The Digital Icebreaker: An Open Bar Chat and private messaging system designed to end the fear of the "cold approach."

We’re moving from URL to IRL.

To the Product Hunt Community: We are looking for our "Early Adopters" for the Friday launch.

  1. Do you think social media is better on a couch or in a crowded room?

  2. What’s the one feature that would make you "check-in" at your favorite local spot every weekend?

Mark your calendars for next Friday. The "Next Big Thing" isn't a new website—it’s the night out you’ve been waiting for. 🍻
