Thank you for checking out my product! 🚀

I started this project back in 2020 as a solo developer and have been building it ever since. Over the years, I've listened closely to your feedback, emails, and feature requests - and I've worked hard to bring your best ideas to life. Thanks to your support, I believe we've built a great tool together. I hope Snippety makes your daily workflows even smoother and speeds up your repetitive typing! 🎊 Feel free to share your thoughts and ideas!

Does Snippety sync snippets between macOS and iOS automatically, or do I need to manage that manually across devices?

Yes, Snippety syncs automatically between macOS, iOS, and iOS keyboard - all via your personal iCloud.

It also supports iCloud collaboration to sync selected snippets with others. Here you can find demo videos showing the synchronization process:

The ⌘⇧Space shortcut placement is genuinely thoughtful, it never gets tangled with the system hotkeys I've already memorized. Nice to see a Mac app that actually feels built for the platform instead of just ported over.

Thank you for the feedback :)! It wasn't easy to pick a default good shortcut as most of them are already in use. The hotkey is also configurable in case someone prefers a different one :). Both the macOS and iOS app are 100% native built for Apple ecosystem, no weird WebView-based ports 💪

How does the sync work between macOS and iOS, especially for newer snippets I create on one device while the other is offline?

It's not a problem, the app is using native iCloud synchronization. The app will sync snippets as soon as you reconnect your devices. It will merge all changes and the latest change for individual snippet will be applied :).

does it play nice with things like Raycast or Alfred, or would those clash with the same hotkey?

All hotkeys are configurable so there shouldn't be any conflicts. I personally use Snippety and Raycast and there are no issues :).

does the expander work inside things like VS Code or terminal fields, or only in standard text inputs? thats where my typing pain actually lives

It works everywhere, the app simulates cmd+v to paste the snippet so technically it should work almost everywhere. The are only a few limitations like password fields where the system prevents apps from tracking key strokes.
