SnapDraft - Quick floor plan sketching, right in your browser

SnapDraft is a lightweight floor plan tool that runs entirely in your browser. No account, no download, no subscription. Most floor plan apps are built for architects. SnapDraft is built for everyone else: sketch a room layout, experiment with furniture arrangements, or check if that IKEA sofa actually fits before you buy it. Works great with touch or mouse/keyboard. Plans save automatically in your browser, privately on your device.

Hey everyone! I’ve been working on SnapDraft, a quick and simple way to sketch floor plans. My wife is an architect (the building kind, not the software kind). Whenever we need to plan anything for our home, she pulls up Revit. It’s been amazing for things like our kitchen renovation, but it’s a lot for simpler things like experimenting with furniture layouts and it doesn’t really help when we’re at IKEA, away from the computer, trying to figure if that side table would actually fit. After checking out some other apps and websites, everything was either too expensive or more than I was really looking for. So I built SnapDraft: something easy enough for a non-architect like me to use and pull up whether at home or our next trip to IKEA. If you have any feedback, would love to hear it!
