👋 Hi Product Hunt!
I built Snapcrypted because I wanted to share something *truly private* with a friend — no logins, no metadata, no footprints.
So here's how it works:
I type a secret → click generate → get a one-time encrypted link → send it to my friend.
The moment they open it... boom. It's gone.
No copy. No backup. Not even *I* can recover it.
This isn't just another note-sharing tool.
It's a digital whisper. Once read, it disappears — leaving no trace behind, not even to the sender.
Everything is end-to-end encrypted (AES-256), client-side only. No cookies, no accounts, no ads.
I'd love to hear your thoughts. If you've ever wanted to send something off the grid — this might be for you.

✨ What's New
🔑 Auto-filled encryption key
A secure key is now auto-generated and pre-filled. You can leave it as-is or replace it with your own.
⏱️ Smarter TTL Selection
Set your own destruction timer with the TTL dropdown — if your note isn't read in time, it vanishes automatically.
📋 Copy & Destroy Buttons
After generating a note, users now get both a Copy and Destroy option. Copy lets you share the secure link, while Destroy allows you to erase the note from the server instantly.
