Hi Product Hunt! I type most of my messages on my phone, and they come out… rough. Fixing them meant copying text into a chatbot app and back. So I built SmartKeyboard: a keyboard that transforms the text right where you're typing — in Mail, WhatsApp, Notes, anywhere. Tap a prompt and it fixes grammar, changes tone, translates, expands, adds emojis, or runs a prompt you wrote yourself ("make this sound like a pirate" works great). A few things I care about: • There is no backend. The default engine is Apple's on-device model, so the free tier is unlimited, works offline, and your text never leaves the phone. • Cloud models are strictly bring-your-own-key (OpenAI or Gemini). Requests go from the keyboard straight to the provider — I run no servers, store nothing, log nothing. • The free tier needs no account and no API key. Subscriptions only unlock the cloud plumbing and unlimited custom prompts. Honest limitations: it needs iOS 26 (for Apple Intelligence), and iOS gives keyboards only a few hundred characters of context around the cursor, so it transforms paragraphs, not essays.
