Having to login to each team individually while I only have one email address associated with them all is the biggest pain point. That and the ballooning 2GB+ that I see while being logged in to 6 teams..
So fast! Great work! One thing that seems to not work on this version is translating text using mac's dictionary. Up until now I used to be able to find definition for words using macs dictionary and triggering it by hovering over a word with the cursor and then clicking with 3 fingers on the trackpad. This works on all of my other webapps except for the new Slack version. It could be great if you could fix this!

Love the new update @paulcbetts ! After my mac upgradation to Sierra, the slack app wasn't running very smoothly, kept hanging up frequently for 2-5seconds. This update is a relief!
Been part of the 'internet' community since a little kid, active on multiple old-school forums, discussing and interacting with communities around the globe. While Slack is majorly for individual 'teams' and it's current functionalities are more than just 'suffice', I see a trend of diverse open slack communities (part of some myself). @paulcbetts - do you plan to introduce features to help moderate/curate those open communities?

Why don't you guys work on a native app for macOS? The current app is slow and can be a lot faster if you implement it natively.
@paulcbetts I really love this product and I bet that 80% of Product Hunt community uses Slack.

I love it - obviously - but it sometimes make my Mac hang. Unsure if that's a Mac issue or a Slack issue.... Notifications can be better too!
