Skylog - GPS journey tracker that works offline, even on flights

by
GPS journey tracker that actually works offline. Flights, drives, trains, ferries, cycling and walking. The map is bundled inside the app so it works perfectly in airplane mode with zero wifi needed. Go online and it silently switches to full Apple Maps automatically, buildings, satellite, all the detail. Lose signal mid trip and it switches back on its own. No input needed ever. Free to download. One time $4.99 Pro, no subscription ever. First solo app, would love your feedback!

Hey everyone, Aarush here, the solo dev behind Skylog! The idea came from a frustrating flight where every GPS app I tried either needed wifi or just went blank in airplane mode. So I built the one I wanted. There are two maps running under the hood. Offline it uses a world map bundled directly inside the app, works perfectly in airplane mode, no wifi purchase needed, no blank tiles, anywhere in the world. When you come back online and have Pro it silently switches to full Apple Maps, buildings, satellite, points of interest, all of it appearing automatically under your route. Lose signal mid trip and it switches back on its own with a little badge so you always know which mode you're in. Getting that seamless switch to feel right was honestly the hardest part of building this. Supports 6 travel modes: flights, drives, trains, ferries, cycling and walking. iCloud sync across all your devices, home screen widget, one time $4.99 Pro with no subscription ever.
