The emails that cost us the most were the ones we forgot to answer
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I'm one of the two founders behind Skein. We built it out of a very boring problem: the emails that cost us the most weren't the ones we got wrong, they were the ones we forgot to answer.
A customer asking about pricing. A candidate waiting on a reply. An intro that went quiet after the first call. None of them were lost. They just sank under everything else.
Most email stores your conversations and leaves the remembering to you. Skein is business email on your own domain with an agent that keeps the threads moving:
→ It notices when someone goes quiet, or when you do
→ It drafts the follow-up in your tone
→ It asks you in Slack, WhatsApp or on your phone before anything is sent
→ Every morning, a short brief: "3 threads need you today."
It isn't an assistant bolted onto Gmail. It's the inbox itself, hosted in the EU (Frankfurt) and built in Barcelona.
Where we are: we're opening 100 founding spots now. Founding teams keep the founding price for as long as they stay subscribed. If you're starting a company and don't have email set up yet, that's exactly who we built this for.
One question for you: what's the last email you forgot to follow up on, and what did it cost you?
