SiteKeeper - Track browsing time. Block distractions. Stay focused.

by
SiteKeeper is a Chrome extension that automatically tracks how much time you spend browsing in Chrome. No timers to start, no tabs to log — it just works in the background. When you spend too much time on distracting sites, set daily or weekly limits and SiteKeeper blocks them for you. SiteKeeper also offers path-level analysis, so it can tell the difference between YouTube tutorials and shorts. A built-in productivity score (0–100) gives you one clear number each day to track your progress.

Hey Product Hunt 👋 I made SiteKeeper because I wanted something that did more than just tell me I was distracted after the fact. A lot of tools either track your time or block websites, but rarely connect the two in a way that actually helps you change your habits. I wanted a lightweight Chrome extension that could first show where my browsing time really goes, then help me do something about it. SiteKeeper automatically tracks browsing time, lets you set limits on distracting sites, and blocks them when you hit the cap. One feature I care a lot about is path-level analysis, so you can separate productive browsing from distracting browsing on the same site, like YouTube tutorials vs. YouTube Shorts. There’s also a daily productivity score to make the trend easy to understand at a glance. I’m especially curious about your experience: Have you tried time tracking or website blockers before? What made you stop using them?
