Great question! Singlelink is an open-sourced Linktree alternative that we host for free on Singlelink allows you to easily create an online profile or business card containing the many pages/links you might want to share online, all viewable from one convenient link (since social profiles only allow one link per profile generally). How will my custom domain work, if I install it on my DO? or will it still use singlink.com?

Hey Robin! Yes, custom domain will work if installed on your own Droplet, but there is some configuration required currently to get this working. One-click custom domain support is in development & coming soon, so keep an eye out on our issue board for updates! (Custom domains issue: )

Howdy, everyone! 👋🤠 We put Singlelink together on a whim this past month in an effort to challenge the existing offerings in the "social media profile URL" space. In the process, we built the client to be fast, lean, and run easily on a CDN like Netlify - and the client to support any NodeJS droplet & MongoDB database... We hope you enjoy it, and please don't hesitate to leave feedback, contribute, or ask for help!

Hey Brian, great feedback! Currently, profile pictures are set by default via Gravatar from the email provided during sign-in. However, this can be overwritten via an image URL (which we can't believe we missed in production). Throwing this in and will update shortly!

This isn't just an alternative to Linktree. Singlelink is better than Linktree. Free and Open source for the community

I'm proud to finally have this idea fleshed out and released to the public! We hope you find it useful, and please leave feedback if you have any :)
TL:DR: Doesn't get much better than this. Beginners can easily add links and colors & have a working landing page in less then five minutes. More professional users can add custom css & html to get the absolute best out of their page. Either way, it will look great, and they even give you the option to exclude any watermarks if you want the page to be strictly your branding. Not to mention it's both open-source & COMPLETELY free. Definitely plan on purchasing their higher (whale) tier when it becomes available, but there's an astonishingly large amount of customizability even in their free plan. Neutron Creative sure knows how to make a good program!
