Hey PH I'm Alex, solo founder of Sigbot. I kept seeing the same problem with people in construction. GCs, PMs, QSs, and procurement leads get hundreds of emails from subs, suppliers, and consultants, and the phone numbers and job titles sit in signatures that never reach a CRM or contacts list. When you need "that electrical sub from the Burnaby job," you end up digging through your inbox. So I built Sigbot. It connects to Outlook, Gmail, or IMAP, pulls the contact details out of every signature automatically, and puts them in a searchable database you can export. It runs on web and iOS. It's bootstrapped, built over the past ~9 months, and launching on PH soon. Questions for you: How do you handle this today? Manual copy-paste, a CRM, or nothing? If you're outside construction, would this be useful in your industry? What would stop you from connecting your inbox to a tool like this? Happy to give early access to anyone who wants to try it and tell me what's broken.
Sigbot turns the email signatures in your Outlook into one clean, shared contact list. Connect Outlook or Microsoft 365 and it reads the names, titles, firms and phone numbers people have already sent you, merges duplicates and flags bounced addresses. After the first scan it checks for new mail by itself. Filter by trade and area, copy emails for a selection, export to Excel or CSV, and take it with you on the iPhone app. Free plan, no card needed.
