I've followed (and have experienced first-hand) the "Hiring is Broken" issues that are often lamented in the Software Engineering world.
Additionally, being close to people who *do* the hiring using job posting websites has illustrated to me that, while demand for Software Engineering talent is through the roof, most job websites are designed with a focus on the Hiring Managers rather than the Job Seekers/Engineers.
And even then, the process can be frustrating to the Hiring Managers, with nebulous pricing making it hard to forecast your monthly spend, paying per page view when we all know the marginal cost of a page view is effectively $0.00.
While Sieve's design gives priority to Software Engineers/Job Seekers, wherever possible we've made things easier and more straightforward for Hiring Managers as well.
